My brother, and my best friend. We grew up thick as thieves, whether that was playing PlayStation, making dens in the nearby fields (and getting attacked by wasps), or entire days outside playing football. We did pretty much everything together, although Simon always had the sense to sit back and learn from my mistakes (something that he's carried well into adulthood...). He's the best dad I know to two brilliant kids, Carter and Esme, and I'm incredibly lucky to have him as a brother and a friend.

Our nephew, and the sweetest little boy you could hope to meet. He's always playing games, he's rugby-mad (specifically he's a devoted Leigh Leopards fan - don't be surprised if the Leopards get a mention at some point during the day). He'll be the life and soul of whatever's being played, although, like his dad, he has a win-at-all-costs mentality (that extends to cheating). Score a try against him and there's every chance VAR will rule you pulled a funny face in the build-up and say it doesn't count. We can't imagine the day without him.
